- $259 for a three-hour afternoon sail for up to six (a $475 value)
During the cocktail cruise, the captain shuttles up to six guests around the Charleston Harbor at sunset, 5 p.m.–7 p.m. The afternoon sail, meanwhile, embarks at 1 p.m. for an aquatic jaunt that leads passengers under the Ravenal Bridge or to Fort Sumter, and alongside the Charleston Battery. Both trips include complimentary snacks, soda, and water.
Sail South Carolina
Light glimmers off the waves of the Charleston Harbor as a 43-foot rig drifts through its tranquil waters. Aboard the massive Panacea sailboat—a 1979 Endeavor capable of handily sailing 'round the world—captain Matt Luzon and crew member Julia Johnson survey the horizon, helming days of exploration for up to six guests. They host half-day and full-day sailing journeys to a variety of sites, including Ravenal Bridge, Fort Sumter, and Patriot's Point. More adventurous types can choose their own adventures, sailing to wherever the wind will take them, while the captain makes suggestions based on the weather and Neptune's mood swings.
