U.S. Bank Wild Lights

Starting November 27, catch a glimpse of the North Pole at the Saint Louis Zoo, where more than 500,000 lights flicker to life and transform the grounds into a glittering, arctic wonderland. Enjoy animated displays, staged tableaus and cheerful music. After exploring festive attractions such as the Starry Safari or the Neon North Pole, groups can partake in s’mores at Schnuck Family Plaza and gather around a fire, where storytellers regale audiences with riveting wildlife tales. Penguin & Puffin Coast, Sea Lion Sound Underwater Viewing Tunnel, and Monsanto Insectarium remain open throughout the evenings, as do shops brimming with ornaments and other holiday gifts. U.S. Bank Wild Lights are open from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Children under 2 are free; see website for up-to-date hours and info.

Zoo closes at 4 p.m. on U.S. Bank Wild Lights event nights; daytime zoo visitors who will be attending may receive a wristband at a Welcome Desk before 4 p.m. allowing them to stay on the grounds until the evening event begins.

Customer Reviews

What a great event the Zoo Lights is! My tip is to go on a weeknight or when its bound to be nice and cold so that it's not so crowded. That way, you get better pictures and a more intimate setting!
