About St. Nicholas Russian and International Festival
Every year, the community of Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church invites visitors to experience the culture and cuisine of Russia and other Slavic regions at the St. Nicholas Russian and International Festival. Taste the pelmeni, piroshki, borsch, shashlyk, beef stroganoff, kasha, blini, khvorost, and Russian calamari, then try a variety of ethnic desserts. Adults can imbibe some of the best imported vodka brands from Russia and Ukraine, as well as domestic infused spirits in flavors ranging from spicy to sweet. Meanwhile, kids can enjoy the Puppet Theater, and all are welcome to take in traditional Slavic music and dance, the classic Russian church bell ringing, and shop for Slavic souvenirs and collectibles. All of the proceeds benefit St Nicholas Orthodox Church and its outreach activities in the local community and abroad.
