Going against what most of history has taught us about college kids, it turns out that some of them actually want to eat healthy. Such was the case for former U of M students and current co-owners Robert and Max, who lamented the fact that there were no healthy food options near campus. So, with the help of Le Cordon Bleu grad and Wolfgang Puck chef Felicia Medina, the duo opened Salads UP. The menu focuses on local ingredients, which go into their homemade soups, cold-pressed juices, Greek tart frozen yogurt, and fresh salads. Their mobile app let's you pay by phone and get rewards each and every time you dine with them.
