What You'll Get
Like a well-trained butler or a cautious yet gifted dog, the future only speaks when spoken to. Employ the help of a transcendental translator with today’s Groupon: for $30, you get a 30-minute tarot-card reading from Salamander Sisters Occult Goods & Services in Beverly (up to a $120 value). Groupon customers can choose between an in-studio or over-the-phone session.
The self-proclaimed witches at Salamander Sisters Occult Goods & Services call upon backgrounds in voodoo, Wicca, Strega, and other ancient otherworldly traditions in order to piece together predictions for patrons. Seers spend the first few minutes of each tarot-card reading acclimating future-seekers with the process, answering questions and quietly reassuring them that, no matter what, the powdered wig will never reemerge as a sophisticated accessory. Once a comfortable connection is established, the fortuneteller will dig deeper to learn about any topics the fate-finder would like to cover before turning the tarot cards. The illustrated deck can shed light on anything from love, career moves, money, or the exact year that cats will take over the world, and the cards' revelations help to crystallize the seer’s predictions. Rather than cutting the session at exactly 30 minutes, Salamander’s soothsayers always make sure to not only indulge every visionary detail, but also to answer any questions that might pop up during the appointment. If desired, an additional 15 minutes may be added at the regular price ($50 for in-person; $60 for over-the-phone), or clients can attempt to earn extra time by defeating the resident crystal ball in a staring contest.
