What You'll Get
Sprucing up a hairdo before a big date, like getting beaned during the World Series, is a guaranteed way to get to first base. Score a smooch with today’s Groupon: for $60, you get a haircut (up to a $45 value) and highlights (an $83 value) at Salon au Rouge (up to a $128 total value).
Cultivating lush head gardens for 20 years, April Eastman helms Salon au Rouge's crew of seasoned beautifiers, each brimming with the skills to tame all types of topiaries. During an initial consultation, stylists barrage patrons with visage-framing options designed to complement face shapes, lifestyles, and William Taft impressions. The mane architects then go on to expertly cut and highlight locks, steeping them in products from names such as Redken, Wella, and Paul Mitchell, causing droll hairdos to burst from color cocoons with fresh stripes of pigment.
Clients of Salon au Rouge can high-kick back and relax as complimentary coffee and wine moisten their palates. Blues-infused jazz notes and the gurgle of a nearby brook drift across two levels of Parisian-inspired accouterments, lavished with contemporary scarlet and green accents alongside curtains made of chocolate crepes.

About Leah Virata at Salon Au Rouge
The throaty purr of saxophones drifts from Salon Au Rouge into neighboring woods and across a creek. Jazz music and glasses of wine in the salon work with decor to simulate the feeling of having stepped into a Parisian salon. In the two-level chartreuse building, merlot-hued curtains billow in gentle breezes like the robe of a magistrate who is actually just kids standing on each other's shoulders. April Eastman—the owner and a stylist with more than 20 years of experience—designed the salon, and she walks among potted flowers to fill wine glasses and coffee mugs. Her apprentice-trained stylists cut, color, and sculpt hair with products from Redken, Wella, Keune, and L'Oréal Organics, concluding each appointment with at-home styling tips. Away from the styling floor, the nail technician pampers hands with manicures and feet with pedicures, wielding OPI polishes or chip-resistant Axxium gel. Inside the salon's newly fashioned private suites, massage therapists knead away tension with Swedish and deep-tissue techniques, and aestheticians care for skin with oxygen-infused facials and waxing services.
