Salon Decadence is centrally located in downtown Novato, with lots of parking. The shop is very pleasant. Ramona had given me 3 choices for appointments within a week. ( My former stylist retired and I was way overdue for a cut. Two other shops in Novato in the past 2 months had canceled my appts on the day of the appt! Beginning to think I'd need to go out of town.) Ramona was right on time, asked what I wanted (layered long hair), good to go. She gave me a comfortable shampoo, and cut my hair with complete attention and detail. Time-intensive = Lovely blow out! I'm completely delighted with the whole visit and have found my new stylist!

The salon is cute and comfortable. I talked to Ramona before I made my appointment and she assured me that she could cut and color my hair the way I wanted. She did a great job and now she is my permanent stylist!

Very poor haircut and attention to curly hair. Uneven about three inches on one side. $65 dollars normal price paid $60 for Groupon
All around unprofessional experience from arrival. Stylist helped two people before me at my 1:30 appointment. No call about lateness. Did not listen well and expressed that she doesn't like to be interrupted. Her client sat next to me with wet hair clearly frustrated. I offered to pass up in the appointment but stylist was rushing thru my cut clearly trying to get it done to help her friend
Blow dry ok but I came for a detailed trim not a blow dry. She tried talking me into straightening my hair but I'm sorry I like my hair!
A few texts said wanted to work with me but how different would it be to explain a simple trim.
I wanted a professional trim and simple clean edge
cut. So I went to see Andy at Supercuts for half the price but lost months of growth. Worst hair salon experience ever.
