$12 for $25 Worth of Seafood

Salt Life Food Shack’s menu includes both sea- and land-based items, such as seared ahi tuna splayed over romaine, avocado, and cabbage ($12.99), a wood-grilled chicken breast crowned with pineapple and provolone ($7.49), and a soft-shell-crab BLT ($8.99).

Salt Life Food Shack

Over the past few years, the term “salt life” has come to identify those who prefer to spend their time at the ocean, whether to surf, dive, or simply relax along the beach. Salt Life Food Shack embodies this ocean-centric culture at its three beachside locations run by four self-proclaimed extreme surfers, spearfishers, and overall watermen.

At the community-driven locations, you’ll find a full menu packed with sandwiches, burgers, salads, and fresh seafood, including seared ahi tuna, soft-shell crab, and oysters. When Folio Weekly gave Salt Life Food Shack its Best New Restaurant award in 2010, it described the marinated fresh tuna in Caliche’s Poke Bowl as “make-you-pick-a-fight-it’s-so-good.”

Customer Reviews

The last time I was here was over a year ago and then I moved away. As usual the food was consistently fresh and delicious. And it was nice to see the same manager is still there with the same nice smile. Pleasant, casual and comfortable atmosphere.
