Q:

Hi If I purchase a session for myself and my 2 daughters can we do the session at the sames time and in the same room? How many people does the room accommodate during a session? Thank you

alison m.  asked on  Nov 1, 2012

A:

Yes you may all come at the same time. Depending on the age of your daughters will determine what room you will use. Our adult room accommodates up to 7 people per session and all sessions are quiet where clients either sleep, read, or meditate. The kids room is set up for parents to go in with their kids and is more for kids typically 10 and younger who would prefer to play and talk during the sessions. Call us at 720-524-3531 with any questions. thanks. Allen

Q:

I was so excited when I got this Groupon offer, because I've been wanting to try your Salt Spa for a long time!!! Then I noticed something while reading the "fine print", that's left me wondering what the meaning behind it is?: "Due to the overwhelming request of our clients, we cannot provide our salt therapy to any current smokers of any and all tobacco products. Thank you for your understanding." I've read this to myself a few times now, trying to figure out why your customers would request that of you, and the only remote possibility I could think of was that perhaps during the process of sitting in a salt spa (if you're a smoker, specifically) nicotine that has built up in your system, releases from your body & into the atmosphere ... and this atmosphere (per se) translated to the area where many/all customers are utilizing the spa treatment? As a smoker myself, I'm trying not to feel offended by your policy. With that being the ONLY rationalization I could think of, that wouldn't leave me feeling offended at all, since it would clearly defeat the purpose of using a salt spa - I'd like to hear the answer behind this policy directly from you, though . . . in lieu of being left to guess, as I am now. If you'd kindly take a moment to answer that for me, I'd be grateful. I'm sure all the other smokers would be, as well. Lastly, with all due respect. I'd like to recommend you edit your website (paragraph where this policy is written) as to include more info/detail behind the policy. As it currently reads (at least in my opinion ), it is unclear & almost evasive. I look forward to your response. Thank you.

CHRISTINE V.  asked on  Oct 30, 2012

A:

Hi Christine, your own answer is quite clear and succinct. Due to the fact that we see many people with very serious respiratory issues, we need to be very careful regarding smokers. Many of our clients have COPD, severe asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, and environmental allergies. They are very sensitive to being around both smokers as well as folks wearing perfumes, essential oils, etc. We also ask all of our customers to refrain from using any products that are heavily scented in any way. Our second reason with smokers is that we have no desire to waste their money with the salt spa. As long as they continue to smoke this therapy will be a waste of time for them. We would love to work with those trying to quit so what we ask is that smokers have quit cold turkey for at least three weeks, washed the clothes they would wear to the salt spa at least twice and then they are welcome to use the facility. We also will warn them that the process of detoxing their lungs may be unpleasant and difficult at times as they will be expectorating quite a bit of junk from their lungs as this process will help mucociliary transportation. It will also take anywhere from 12-24 sessions to get through that process depending on how lung they have been smokers and what shape their lungs are in. Feel free to call me at 720-524-3531. thanks. Allen

Q:

Why would anyone pay almost 3 times for the 2 session as for the 1 session?

Shannon D.  asked on  Oct 30, 2012

A:

The one session deal is only for first time users of the salt spa. It is not applicable for repeat customer. The 2 session deal is for new or existing clients and has a limit of one per person. thus, if you are a new customer and would like to get three sessions total, you would purchase one for $10.00 and two for the $39.00. Each of the deals has a maximum of one per person.
