For $15, today's side deal gets you $30 worth of Italian and Mediterranean brunch, lunch, dinner fare, and more at SALUTE!.
SALUTE! is famed restaurateur Gennaro Sbarro's culinary salute to the edible traditions of Italy and its geographic neighbors. The brunch menu peddles the french toast alla SALUTE!, a medley of homemade sweet raisin cinnamon bread, house-made marmalade, fresh fruit, and whipped cream ($14), and the frittata al prosciutto e mozzarella, which deftly merges three eggs and cherry tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and prosciutto ($17). Lunchier brunch fare includes the ravioli di astice, which consists of lobster ravioli in a tarragon sauce ($28). SALUTE! also adds a complimentary mimosa during brunch.
SALUTE!'s lunch menu includes seafood, pasta, and brick-oven pizzas, and the dinner menu features pastas and decadent entrees, such as pan-roasted filet mignon that wears a top hat of fois gras ($46). Reservations are required.

Salute!'s central Manhattan eatery fuses Italian and American culture within a warm, curtain-lined dining area that's also ideal for large parties and group events. House specialties such as braised beef ravioli and pan-seared seafood entrees illuminate the dinner menu as bartenders shake custom cocktails such as Salute Lemonade, a house blend of Absolut Citron and limoncello. Like a UN daycare, the capacious wine cellar houses bottles from around the world, and daytime passersby can meander in for lunch or a hearty weekend brunch spread.
