About Salvatore's Restaurant-Lawrence
Before there was Salvatore's Restaurant in Lawrence, a fine-dining Italian establishment housed in a restored historic mill building nestled beside the Merrimack River, there was Sal's Pizza. Sal Lupoli opened the popular pizzeria in Boston's North End in 1990. Sal learned his techniques from his Naples-born grandparents, who started selling their own Neapolitan-style pizza on Revere Beach in 1940. Sal put his own spin on their flavors and turned Sal's into a successful national franchise.
In 2005, he turned his focus to full-service Italian dining and opened his first Salvatore's Restaurant, where guests dine on classic Italian pasta and seafood dishes like lobster and shrimp ravioli tossed in a vodka cream sauce and fresh salmon glazed in Grand Marnier. And, of course, it wouldn't be a Sal Lupoli restaurant without an extensive pizza and flatbread menu which features unique recipes like eggplant parmesan and sweet chill chicken.
