When and how did you first realize you wanted to be involved in hair styling?
Doug had a natural talent for cutting hair. He started by offering cuts to friends and family and later pursued full training and certification in Toronto and Los Angeles, before opening his own salon in Barrie.

Consulting with a client before every service helps both sides understand how busy your life is and how much time you want to spend on your hair each day. These requirements help determine if the desired style will ‘work’ or if adjustments are needed to suit the face shape or hair type, while incorporating those elements that will enhance overall appearance - (and fit the morning routine.)

Schedule haircuts on a regular basis. This helps grow healthier hair, increases the rate of growth and ensures you always look your best.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn’t cover?
Buy the best quality hair care products you can afford. These are typically quite concentrated, require very small amounts of product and will save you money in the long run. Remember you only need to shampoo the roots and condition the ends of your hair.
