About San Bernardino County Museum
Since opening to the public in 1957, San Bernardino County Museum has been educating visitors and locals alike with research collections, artifacts, and meticulously maintained gardens that paint the picture of the region's cultural and natural history. In addition to rotating installments, the museum's three floors of exhibits include the primary exhibits on birds, paleontology, and geology, as well as the Hall of History, where visitors can view horse-drawn buggies, and the Gerald A. Smith Hall of Anthropology, which sheds light on the Mojave, Vanyume, Serrano, and Gabrielino tribes, as well as the land they occupied.
