Orshi McNaughton is a self-proclaimed myth buster, debunking peoples’ misconceptions about the science of working out and nutrition to help them lead healthier lifestyles. She also challenges traditional notions of boot camp, describing her sessions as personal training in a group setting rather than military-inspired shoutfests. Whether inside one of her brand new state-of-the-art fitness facilities or outdoors, she and her nine co-trainers wring sweat from students with interval training workouts that incorporate boot camp and kickboxing. On any given day, classes might make use of kettlebells, battle ropes, pull-up bars, or BOSU balance trainers, as well as more traditional dumbbells, medicine balls, and stationary penny farthings.
