What You'll Get
Morphing in and out of eight characters, writer-actress Kiki Yeung takes you into a day in the life of a Hong Kong-born immigrant who's trying to become an actress in America. Given the current conversation about diversity in Hollywood, Yeung's timing couldn't be any better. Her one-woman production Second Chances For Grace is infused with comedy, drama, song and dance. Watch and be inspired as she offers real-talk -- and no small amount of "Chinglish" -- addressing determination, healing and dream-chasing. The San Diego Asian Artists Ensemble presents this Fringe Festival "Hustler Award" winner at the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum.
*On April 2, there will be a pre-show reception, as well as an opening night post-show party.
*On April 3, there will be a post-show talk with Kiki Yeung and director DeAnna Driscoll immediately following the performance.
