Enter the Ugly Dog Contest, a fun family event at Del Mar Fairgrounds that celebrates dogs of all shapes, sizes and HotorNot.com rankings. Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Ugly Dog Contest awards prizes to lovable yet attractiveness-challenged pups in 10 categories including Most Unusual Markings, Looks Most Likes Its Owner and, of course, Ugliest Dog. (There are also prizes for the best-looking dogs, if you're into that sort of thing.) Of course, no dog is truly ugly -- this is just a fun way to bring a little extra love and attention to the puppy equivalent of that kid no one wanted to sit next to on the school bus. Proceeds will benefit Rady Children's Hospital Celebration of Champions.
