Participants can test their endurance in a 10K or 5K run or walk, wearing Christmas hats
- Each participant receives: a Santa hat, race T-shirt, a special tote bag, and a finisher’s medal
- Check-in time and location: 7 a.m. at 1900 Geng Rd, Palo Alto, CA 94303
- Race start time:
- Baylands 10K at 9 a.m.
- Palo Alto 5K Run/Walk at 10:45 a.m.
Baylands 10K or Palo Alto 5K
Donning Santa hats, commemorative T-shirts, and special tote bags, runners of the Baylands 10K or the Palo Alto 5K will proceed through the streets and trails along the bay on holiday-themed runs.
- Runners of the 10K enjoy stunning views along the Adobe Creek Loop Trail, as well as the inner quarter of San Francisco Bay, as they pound the pavement.
- The 5K will head down E Bayshore Road on a different side of the track, and finishes at the Baylands Athletic Center.
- Shining new medals await all finishers who keep their eyes off the landscapes long enough to complete the course.
