As far as Groupon’s Chronicle deal : it was easy. I followed your directions and it was smooth sailing. Chronicle is too expensive! Dealing with Chronicle, if you’re a subscriber, is a nightmare. Their customer service is terrible. If you call them to report a missing (undelivered) paper, it must be within a certain time frame (understandable) and even then if you ask them to redeliver it again, you won’t get the paper and possibly won’t get it for days after the fact!

After dealing with another local newspaper for four months and never actually receiving a delivered paper, I ordered the Chronicle. I ordered on Saturday and received it's delivery on the very next day, Sunday. I was impressed, very happy, and grateful for how efficiently the Chronical runs it's subscription and, most importantly, it's delivery. Plus Sunday crosswords.
