Green-thumbed growers can sink their eyes into the cascading pink flowers of the bareroot fruit trees, which will arrive between mid-December and early January. Options include snow queen tangerine trees ($29.98), bonanza peach trees ($29.99), and a yellow delicious semi-dwarf apple tree ($29.99). Early winter is the best time to plant these trees, but the worst time to host a barbecue.
