Few eras have captured our hearts and imaginations quite like America's wild, wild West and this special concert celebrates those bygone frontier days. For this rootin', tootin' classical musical round-up at McAfee Performing Arts and Lecture Center in Saratoga, the San Jose Wind Symphony welcomes the irrepressible Patrick Sheridan, one of the most celebrated soloists in the history of the tuba. Sheridan has performed more than 3,000 concerts in over 50 countries in venues ranging from the White House to NBA half-time shows to the Hollywood Bowl. Relive the time of cowboys, sheriffs and outlaws as he and the symphony perform western themes from TV and movies, as well as sagebrush standards like Morton Gould's "Santa Fe Saga" and Ron Nelson's "Aspen Jubilee."
