What You'll Get
Eating a spicy burrito or betting a pristine collection of Choose Your Own Adventure books on a poker hand may work up a sweat, but it doesn’t qualify as proper exercise. Burn calories without risking priceless nostalgia with today's Groupon: for $30, you get 10 fitness classes at San Ramon Valley Fitness in Danville (a $60 value).
San Ramon Valley Fitness hosts a wide variety of sassy classes, so cardio achievers can burn fat and feel sexier through a sassy set of dynamic exercises. Founded by personal trainer and nutritionist Cori Ann Lentz, San Ramon Valley Fitness offers a full schedule of aerobic and body-sculpting exercises that are much more exciting than running on the treadmill or playing hacky sack with a cannonball.
Join the Zumba class and gyrate to the grooves of Latin beats, or take a page from the local rogue tabby and try the high-energy workout of the BAD Kitty Sassy Fitness class. Though most classes last 30 minutes, sign up for the boot camp for 60 minutes of jumping rope, push-ups, and intense punching. Otherwise, literal movers and shakers can burn 400 to 800 calories in the Hula Hoop for Cardio and Tone class, or immerse themselves in the soothing Candlelight Yoga class.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class to sign up.
Yelpers give San Ramon Valley Fitness 4.5 stars:
- I am not the world's fittest person and I have hated working out my whole life, but the classes at SRVF make sweating fun. Most classes are 30 minutes of non-stop action. I don't think I've sweated so much in my entire life. – Stephanie H.
- ALL and I mean ALL of their instructors are amazing. If you haven't checked out San Ramon Valley Fitness you are missing out! – Michelle W.
- From the moment you walk in the door at SRVF you are greeted by Cori Ann's staff, full of warmth and passion for fitness. It radiates from their venting system I think and every little detail has been thought of when designing a studio from the perfect lighting for each class, the gorgeous mirrors so that you can watch your form, and the innovative and fun class offerings. – Joy P.
