Today's Groupon gets you $100 worth of services for $50 at Sanctuary Spa d' Sante, a Highland Village retreat that Citysearchers voted Best Facials and Best Massage in 2006. Sanctuary's holistic treatments use carefully crafted techniques, aromatherapy, and seaweed-based products to cleanse, stimulate, and soothe stressed skin. Its huge menu of services includes facials, massage, hydrotherapy, waxing, sunless tanning, and an audio treatment that teaches you how to fly an airplane.
Sanctuary is known for its facials, which use natural seaweed, herbs, and essential oil-based products to detoxify and hydrate skin. In addition to its signature restorative facial (two cleansings, exfoliation, steam, extraction, oxygenation, and facial massage for $135), Sanctuary offers specialized treatments for puffy eyes ($58), Rosacea ($135), wrinkles ($58), and décolleté ($125). Massage options include Thai yogic massage ($120), four-hands massage (double fee + $25), and couples massage (regular fee + $12 each). During a full-body massage ($95 for an hour) or stress massage ($55 for 30 minutes), choose from Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger-point techniques, or a combination of all three.
Each room at Sanctuary is a scented chamber with deep, soothing colors and classic decor. The staff of certified aestheticians is friendly and experienced; Sanctuary's owner is a Doctor of Naturopathy who trains the spa's technicians in each treatment Sanctuary offers.
Note: New clients only.

Sanctuary isn't just a great salon, it’s a haven for people on the run from unstyled hair. If you find yourself on the lam, refer to this guide to find the appropriate santuary:
Running From: Ghosts or monsters
Potential Haven: Boarded-up old mansion
Running From: Tommy Lee Jones
Potential Haven: An orthodontist’s alternative creation-theory museum
Running From: Jericho, your evil half-brother
Potential Haven: The exact spot you last met, atop the buried entrance to the Templar’s Library in that burning field at midnight
Running From: Negative performance reviews
Potential Haven: Instead of running, consider what valid points your critics might have. Then, turn your weaknesses into strengths.
