On Sunday, June 22, runners will gather at San Lorenzo Park to take part in a 1K, 5K, or 10K run and support the fight against hunger. The race begins at 8 a.m. All runners will receive a T-shirt, reusable goodie bag, and a raffle ticket, for a chance to win weekend getaways, a year of monthly massages, bikes from Family Cycling, and other prizes.
On the day before the race, attendees can also visit the Family Health Expo and enjoy demonstrations, games, and food. Runners will also pick up race packets at the expo. All proceeds from the run and expo will go to Grind Out Hunger in support of its missions to educate children about good nutritional choices and to provide food for those in need and to California Coastal Watershed.
