Santa's Workshop—the one at the North Pole—has been around since forever. But the jolly old elf has another home base that's a little more accessible and has a pretty impressive history of its own. Opened in 1949 in Wilmington, New York, this Santa's Workshop gives little ones a taste of holiday magic every July–December. Whether it's courting thrills on Santa's Sleigh Coaster or delighting sweet teeth at the Candy Shop, the wonderland excites guests no matter the reading on the thermometer. Even in the summer visitors can take in the Christmas Capers musical revue, the thigh-slapping Ragdoll Romp, and the daily Santa Claus Parade led by the Mother Goose Guild. The park is also the only place in the country that can stamp a North Pole postmark on Christmas cards or letters from Santa, right at the Big Man's own official US Post Office.
