It was okay, not the best, will not be returning. Had the gel done on my nails and it's already chipping away. The polish was not very good. The pedicure was short, didn't even feel like my feel were done.

After hands and feet soak, techs tend cuticles, scrub skin soft, and massage digits, then paint nails with polish or resilient Gelish color

Feet are the most overworked part of the body, followed closely by the elves that live in our pupils and schedule our blinks. Envision relaxation with this Groupon.

Nail technicians start mani-pedis by placing hands and feet in a relaxing soak. Then, they cut off cuticles, scrub away dead skin, and relax appendages with massages. Combined, a mani-pedi takes about an hour and includes a polish. The salon also stocks about 50 shades of longer-lasting Gelish polish, which lasts up to three weeks with no chipping. It also boasts a distinctive sheen unrivaled by regular polish: “Polish is shiny, but Gelish is glass,” says Sasse Nails owner Kristine Koenker.

About Salon Sasse

Sasse Nails’ appointment-only policy fits in with the salon’s overarching philosophy. Owner Kristine Koenker’s team of nail technicians take all the time they need with each customer, soaking, scrubbing, and polishing toes for a full hour without feeling rushed. The relaxed, serene atmosphere doesn’t stop there: Kristine makes sure each station has a comfortable amount of space, and a leaf-shaped mirror reflects warm, earth-toned hues meant to inspire tranquility.

As techs apply long-lasting Gelish polish or dip toes into warm paraffin wax, clients can peek through the windows and glass door that separate the nail salon from Kristine's adjacent full-service hair salon. The glass dividers open up the space visually, but keep noise to a minimum, and the quiet is only interrupted when clients express their gratitude for well-treated feet with tap-danced Morse code.
