Q:

Is this tour "workable/accessible"for a wheelchair bound person?

peggy w.  asked on  Nov 4, 2012

A:

Unfortunately, strollers and wheelchairs are difficult to manage on the tours, due to the crowds and tight spaces in the Market and the food establishments we visit. Some of the artisans and businesses we visit are very small, crowded, and not wheelchair or stroller accessible in a tour group of up to 16 guests. The Pike Place Market and city of Seattle as a whole are generally accessible. With or without our tours, we encourage you to explore both to the fullest extent.

Q:

We did the Pike Market tour last year...FABULOUS!! Would like to do the chocolate or gourmet one this time around...can we use this groupon for those tours?

Carrrie T.  asked on  Nov 3, 2012

A:

We are glad that you had a great time on the tour last year ! The deal is only applies to the Pike Place Market tour, however, there are a couple stops that are different in the morning than on the afternoon tour so it would be a different experience if you went on the opposite time from what you did last year !

Q:

is there parking near, or would public transit work best

Christina W.  asked on  Nov 3, 2012

A:

Either one works ! The Public Market Garage at 1531 Western Avenue (just behind the Market) has some of the most affordable parking rates in all of downtown Seattle so that is a great place to park.

Q:

If I have a 3 month old can I carry him around on this tour in a front carrier on me? Does he have to have a ticket also?

Melissarw8  asked on  Nov 3, 2012

A:

We recommend carrying children on the tours vs strollers due to space constraints in the market so, absolutely you can carry him with you ! Children under the age of 2 who will not be eating do not need to have a ticket purchased for them.

Savor S.  from  Merchant  replied on  Nov 3, 2012

A:

All children ages 0-2 not participating in food tastings are free of charge.
