About Saz's State House
When Steve "Saz" Sazama opened the doors in March 1976, he probably didn't envision Saz's State House's eventual legacy; he just wanted a place where barbecue, Milwaukee sports fans and friendly banter could coexist. Four decades later, Saz's still packs in the crowds, who come for award-winning Duroc pork baby back ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, and the hearty four-meat chili. Customers can grab a bite and a brew before catching a complimentary shuttle to one of the area’s many sporting events. While Saz’s has a loyal following that pretty much grew up at the storied Round Bar, this tavern appeals and caters to every age. Saz's still honors the classics like happy hour, weekly specials and Fish Fry Fridays and Wednesdays. However, the team here looks forward as well as back, evidenced by their fun selection of seasonal cocktails, spirited staff, gluten-free menu and a tasty Sunday Champagne Brunch.
