Q:

I have a Kodak Ektachrome 160 Type G movie film. Is this considered an 8mm film? Also I have 37 other 8mm film reels and about 125 slides I would like to have converted. Is it possible to do it all with this groupon? Can you please help me determine what I should purchase to complete everything? Also what is your current turn around time for completing an order of this size?

Amy H.  asked on  Nov 20, 2012

A:

Hi Amy! Thanks for your interest! Your film is a Super 8 film, which we can transfer. We transfer reel to reel film by the foot. The diameter of your reels will determine the footage. With the premium transfer, we transfer reel to reel film for $.28 per foot. You will receive viewable only DVDs which you can watch on your DVD player or computer. You can estimate your footage based upon the diameter of the reel: 3 inch reel = 50 feet 4 inch reel = 100 feet 5 inch reel = 200 feet 6 inch reel = 300 feet 7 inch reel = 400 feet We scan 35mm slides for $.68 per slide at 2000 dpi or for $.88 per slide at 4000 dpi.
