Q:

I have a bunch of old pictures that I cut up in different shapes and sizes to put in old scrap books. Is there anything you can do with those? Also, the old pictures that are not cut up are mostly 3-1/2 by 5 or even 3-1/2 by 3-1/2. Is there any hope????

Peggy F.  asked on  Jul 12, 2013

A:

Hey Peggy. We can definitely assist with digitizing your pictures. Our trained scanning techs do all photo scanning by hand, no machine feeding here! As a result, we can accommodate odd shapes, sizes and layouts.... you won't even need to group your photos by size or turn them in the same direction... send them as they are! If you have questions about pricing or if we can assist you with a quote, please feel free to contact us at 888-333-2808 or email support@scandigital.com. Thank You!

Q:

Do you transfer from Hi8 8mm video cassettes to DVD? How do I know how many feet are on a 60-minute cassette? Thanks!

Tammy L. G.  asked on  Jul 10, 2013

A:

Hey Tammy. For the transfer of video cassette footage, we charge per tape instead of per foot. The cost is 19.95 per tape (of 2 hours or less) to transfer a video cassette to DVD and 29.95 per tape transferred to DVD + hard drive AVI file. If you are interested learning more about the different transfer packages we offer, please do not hesitate to contact us at 888-333-2808 or email support@scandigital.com. Thank You!

Q:

I would like to know if you develop reel to reel that are a little over 1/2 inch, not sure if it is 8mm or 16mm. Thanks, Suzi

Suzi M.  asked on  Jul 8, 2013

A:

Hey Suzi. I apologize for the inconvenience, however we are unable to develop movie film. The service we provide digitizes film to DVD or editable AVI and we require film that has already been developed and processed. If you have any developed reel and are interested in getting them digitized, please do not hesitate to contact us for pricing and getting and order placed. I apologize again that we are unable to assist with processing your undeveloped reels of film.

Q:

on the $250.00 deal how many 3" 8mm reels can you get

Karla B.  asked on  Jul 7, 2013

A:

Hey Karla. There are 2 options for digitizing your film reels, our "premium" package and our "expert" package. Our premium package digitizes your old film reels to DVD and is priced at $0.28 per foot. Our expert transfer is priced at $0.38 per foot and digitizes your film reels to DVD as well as creating you uncompressed, editable AVI files which are stored on a hard drive. A $250 Groupon voucher will completely cover 892 feet of film under our premium package OR 657 feet under our expert package. Any amount of film which goes over the coverage of your Groupon voucher can easily be applied to a credit card so you don't need to worry about sifting through your reels to find a handful to send... you can send it all! Please feel free to contact us at 888-333-2808 or email support@scandigital.com if you have questions. Thank You!
