Q:

I have some B&W negatives from the early 1900's that I would like to have made into prints on a DVD. Is this something that can be done with your service? Each negative is approximately 3 1/2" x 6".

Richard M.  asked on  Jun 26, 2013

A:

Hey Richard. Thank you for contacting us. We can definitely assist with digitizing your black & white negatives to disc or flash drive. While we don't actually print photos from negatives or the digital scans we create, we will provide you with a disc containing all of your digitized images which can be printed out using any photo printer you may have at home or at the photo lab in your local drug store or shopping center. Black & white negatives require special care and processing so please review our page dedicated to them here http://www.scandigital.com/black-white-scanning.php. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at 888-333-2808 or email support@scandigital.com. Thank You!

Q:

I have reels and VHS tapes of my kids. I would like to make a DVD for each one. Not with everything on all tapes. Is this something I can go through with you to see what goes on the DVD?

Kathy R.  asked on  Jun 22, 2013

A:

Hello Kathy, each transfer is a 1 to 1 transfer and whatever you send in will be processed. You're welcome to tell us at what point of your tapes to stop the transfer, but other than that, it will be pretty straight forward. However, we do offer an Expert transfer which will allow you to edit your own files after they have been converted. With this transfer you'll be able to create your own DVDs after you pick and choose what you want from the footage.
