I have 6 to 12 VHS tapes I'd like to convert. The last time I tried to view one of these tapes, I thought the VCR was going to eat it, and the audio was pitiful. Is that something that you can improve a little bit? Also, I remember (way back when) that towards the end of some of these tapes (and between family movies) are old, unwanted recordings like "Top Gun" and Westerns. Is that something that you can cut out, or is the tape transferred exactly? Thanks!

Hey Kelli. It's difficult to say whether the problem with your tape stems from the tape itself or the VCR used to play the tape. If the problem stemmed from your VCR machine then we should have no difficulty transferring the tape to DVD. If the tape itself is degraded, there is not much that can be done to restore the original information. We transfer tapes as they are and do not edit footage out of the recording. Movies and television shows are under copyright protection and therefore are not able to be transferred to DVD. We will need to return those tapes to you without transfer, however you will not be charged for them. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at 888-333-2808 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank You!
