Q:

About how many slides can I get digitized with the $250 option? Joe Brock

Joseph B.  asked on  Jun 18, 2013

A:

Hi Joe, Thank you for your interest in our slide scanning services. We scan 35mm slides at our standard resolution (2000 DPI) for $0.68 each, or at our higher resolution (4000 DPI) for $0.88. If you plan to use your digital images for enlarged prints, or you want higher quality digital files to preserve your memories, I'd recommend the upgrade to our higher resolution for only $0.20 more per image. With the $250 option, you can scan 367 35mm slides at our standard resolution or 284 35mm slides at our higher resolution. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by email (support@scandigital.com) or by phone (888.333.2808).

Q:

I have two VHS tapes to transfer to DVD. Could I purchase 3 of the vouchers at $29. each and have three copies made of the same content?

r. a.  asked on  Jun 18, 2013

A:

Hi R.A., We charge $19.95 to transfer a video tape of 2 hours or less to DVD. So as long as your VHS tapes do not exceed the 2 hour limit, you can have both tapes transferred for $39.90. In addition, if you would like to order additional DVD copies, we charge $12.95 per disc, so 3 additional copies of each transfer would total $77.70. You could have your two tapes transferred to DVD, with three additional copies of each transfer for $117.60. If you have additional materials to digitize, I welcome you to purchase additional vouchers, but this isn't necessary for what you currently have. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by email (support@scandigital.com) or by phone (888.333.2808).

Q:

Hello. Once we have the online form to send our photos, etc. in, will we be responsible for the shipping to get it to you? Thanks so much! Sally

Sally A.  asked on  Jun 17, 2013

A:

Hi Sally, Our online order form provides a few UPS shipping options which I recommend. If you'd prefer to use a different shipping method, you may select the "Self Ship" option, and you will be responsible for finding a different method of shipment. If you select one of our UPS options, the website will generate a UPS shipping label for you to print out and use to ship your order. It will be prepaid (since you are paying us) and you can simply drop it off at any UPS location. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by email (support@scandigital.com) or by phone (888.333.2808).

Q:

Hi - does this deal apply to any size photos? I have different size photos that date back to the Korean war and was wanting to do this. Please let me know. Thanks and have a wonderful day. Marice

Marice K.  asked on  Jun 16, 2013

A:

Hi Marice, Thank you for your interest in our photo scanning services. This deal is valid for any of our services. We scan photos of 8x10 or smaller to digital images for $0.48 each. If you plan to create enlarged prints from these digital images, I'd recommend our higher resolution option for only $0.20 more per image. When you're scanning and preserving historical images with a lot of meaning, it is always important to consider what you may do with the images in the future. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by email (support@scandigital.com) or by phone (888.333.2808) Monday-Friday 8-6 and Saturday 10-5.
