Q:

How do I get my Photo Albums to you?

Ann H.  asked on  Jun 18, 2013

A:

Hi Ann, Than your for your interest in our photo album scanning services. After you purchase your Groupon voucher, you may redeem it online or by phone (888.333.2808). Once your order is placed, our website will generate a shipping label for you to use to ship your materials. I recommend using one of our UPS options that we offer on our order form. We've partnered with UPS, and the label generated from our website can be tracked by us to ensure safe delivery of your memories to our facility. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by email (support@scandigital.com) or by phone (888.333.2808).

Q:

I would like to use the "expert transfer option". What size hard drive would you need and would I send it along with the film? Thanks for your help.

Butch G.  asked on  Jun 18, 2013

A:

Hi Butch, For 200 feet of film transferred at expert level, I'd recommend sending in a USB hard drive with at least 6 GB of available storage space. You should send it along with your materials to be digitized. If you are sending in a USB hard drive that requires cables, please be sure to provide them. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by email (support@scandigital.com) or by phone (888.333.2808).

Q:

Will the $100 value cover the digitizing of 200 feet of super 8 film?

Butch G.  asked on  Jun 17, 2013

Hey Butch. Digitizing 8mm film to DVD costs $0.28/foot for transfer to DVD and $0.38/foot for transfer to high definition AVI hard drive files. The $100 Groupon voucher will cover up to 357 feet of film being digitized to DVD or 263 feet of film being digitized to hard drive.
