Q:

Hi, Once I sort through all my old family slides , I estimate I could have somewhere between 800 to 1,000 slides that I would like to preserve. I can see that 3 x $100 would let me do 450 slides but I did not see how many slides could be done with the $250 offer . Can you tell me which Groupon offer would be best 3 x $ 100 or the $ 250 to do about 1,000 slides. Alternatively can you tell me what it would cost to do 1,000 slides. Thanks

A:

Hi Paul! We scan slides at $0.68 each for normal resolution or $0.88 each at high resolution. This means you can have 367 - 35mm slides scanned for the $250 value. I would suggest placing a bulk discounts if you have 1000 or more slides. You can use 1 $100 Groupon with this order and it's the only time you can combine 2 promotions with our services. The bulk discount for 1000 or more slides is about 15%. This means with the $100 Groupon the total would come down from $680 for 1000 slides at normal resolution to $480. Q:

Hi , I have approximately 4000 Lin feet of super 8 film that I am looking at having transfered over to DVD. Can you estimate a price it would cost to get this done and if I purchased groupons how many I would require to achieve the best savings.

Mark R.  asked on  Jun 20, 2013

A:

Hey Mark. We charge $0.28/foot to digitize movie film to DVD. For approximately 4000 feet of film, your cost would roughly be $1120. You are able to apply up to $300 worth of Groupon vouchers towards the total, leaving a remaining balance to be paid of $820.
