Q:

I have 15 vcr tapes I'd like converted to dvd's. Some of them may be only partially recorded-Am I paying per DVD filled with vcr conversions or will I be paying per vcr submitted to you, It looks like I should buy the $300 option. Can I use the $300 for the total 15 vcr conversions? But, If for some reason I don't use all of the $300, can I use remaining $'s for other services later? Tim

A:

Tim - We bill per video cassette, so the $300 groupon will cover 15 video tapes up to 2 hours in length. If you have a credit, you'll have a balance on your voucher code that can be used later. Thanks for your interest in ScanDigital and please let us know if you have other questions!

Q:

Is there a limit for the size of the photos submitted? (4x6 8X10 16x20 or old horizontal photos )

Herb C.  asked on  Nov 22, 2012

A:

Herb - The largest photo size we can scan in a single scan is 11x17. Above that, we can scan larger images but then we "stitch" them back together in photoshop. The results are great, but because this is a very time consuming process we charge $5 per stitch. I hope this helps answer your question. Q:

can I edit the dvd disk after you convert vcr to dvd?

Tim N.  asked on  Nov 22, 2012

A:

Tim - you can rip the DVD to your computer and edit the file. If you'd prefer, we can provide the files to you on a hard drive so that you can edit it after conversion. Happy Thanksgiving and please let us know if you have any other questions!
