Q:

I have several VHS tapes that the film has broken and needs to be spliced back together. I read on your website that inspection and repair if needed are performed before transfer process. Is the splicing part of this and is it included in the pricing?

Rebecca A.  asked on  Nov 5, 2012

A:

Hi Rebecca! We do have the ability to splice the tape back together for a charge of $10 in addition to the transfer cost. We you place your order at https://www.scandigital.com/order-form.php, please be sure to indicate that you approve the additional costs for tape repair to avoid any delay in processing your materials. Please feel free to contact us at support@scandigital.com with any further questions.

Q:

I don't understand what the $115 option gets me. Can I use it for 15 videcassettes or 18 8mm film reels?

Shirlee T.  asked on  Nov 3, 2012

A:

Hi Shirlee! I'm sorry for the confusion. Yes, you would be able to use the Groupon to digitize your tapes or film. The $300 value is good for that value based on our normal pricing at http://www.scandigital.com/film-and-video-pricing.php. Please feel free to contact us at support@scandigital.com with any further questions.
