Q:

I have 22 video tapes that I would like transferred to DVD. Before I buy the groupon, approximately how much will shipping be? If I ship them today or tomorrow, will they be completed by Christmas?

Kimberly  asked on  Nov 23, 2012

A:

Kimberly - UPS Ground shipping each was is $10 and can be covered as part of your groupon voucher. Our holiday deadline is December 5th, so as long as they arrive in our Los Angeles processing facility by 12/5 we'll have it back to you in time for Christmas. I would definitely recommend you ship them soon though as shipping can be a bit slower this time or year. Thanks for your interest in ScanDigital and please let us know if you have other questions!

Q:

can they be downloaded to my computer?

rosa m.  asked on  Nov 22, 2012

A:

Hi Rosa - I just want to confirm what you are referring to. If you have photography materials scanned to digital images, they will be provided on computer disc and can be downloaded and saved to your computer. If you have video or movie film transferred, you will need to request a hard drive transfer to have your video files available for use on your computer. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on these boards or email us. Happy Thanksgiving!

Q:

I have a lot of partial videocassettes. Will 6 partial cassettes cost the same as 6 full VCR tapes?

Frances P.  asked on  Nov 22, 2012

A:

Hi Frances - We charge $19.95 per tape for any tape that is 2 hours or less. So although your 6 tapes are partial, they will still be charged $19.95 each. Each tape is transferred to its own DVD, so the cost does not change with less footage. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on these boards or email us. Happy Thanksgiving!
