Q:

I have 10 videotapes that I would like transferred. So it would seem that I would be better off purchasing two $100 deals, although it is not clear how much is included in the $300 deal. Could you please elucidate the particulars of the $300 deal?

Pamela M.  asked on  Nov 23, 2012

A:

Hi Pamela - If you have 10 videotapes, purchasing two $100 deals should be fine. We charge $19.95 to transfer any tape of 2 hours or less in length. Our $100 deal is good for $100 of our services. Our $300 deal is good for $300 of our services. You'll save an extra $5 by purchasing the $300 deal if you have other materials to digitize and preserve. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on these boards or email us. Happy Thanksgiving!

Q:

I have some old family movies that I THINK are on 8mm. I don't know for sure. They were shown on the old reel to reel movie projector. Can you do these? And if so, is it by the foot that you charge? How much does this deal cover? Thanks in advance.

Cinnamon J.  asked on  Nov 23, 2012

A:

Hi Cinammon - We can transfer 8mm, super 8 and 16mm film and charge $0.28 per foot. We are offering $100 of services or $300 of services services, which can be used to pay for film transfers to DVD. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on these boards or email us. Happy Thanksgiving!

Where does this transfer take place? Must the movies be mailed? If so, who pays shipping?
