I bought the $100.00 Groupon on my smartphone. How do I redeem that with you?

Joann J.  asked on  Nov 25, 2012

A:

When you log into your groupon account, you should be able to see your voucher which will have a code. You'll need to go to scandigital.com, click get started and place an order online. In the gift card, voucher, coupon field, you'll want to enter your groupon code. Thanks for your interest and please let us know if you have additional questions!

Q:

If I send multiple short 8 mm reels, can the output be indexed?

Kathleen W.  asked on  Nov 24, 2012

A:

Kathleen - With our process each reel is a chapter on the DVD so you can distinguish between the reels. I hope this helps. Thanks for your interest in our offer and please let us know if you have other questions. Happy Holidays!

Q:

Can you give us the digital file instead of the DVD? If so, is there a difference in cost?

Janet W.  asked on  Nov 23, 2012

A:

Hi Janet - you can opt for a digital file instead of DVD - there is not a difference in cost, but you would need to provide a hard drive (or purchase one from us, which would add cost). Thanks for your interest in our offer and please let us know if you have other questions. Happy Holidays!

Q:

My father had spliced together some of the rolls together, making them 300-400 feet long... Is that a problem? What about if the splice comes undone while you are doing it?

Janet W.  asked on  Nov 23, 2012

A:

Janet - Not a problem at all for us. We actually clean and inspect all footage before transferring it...so if the splices are weak, we'll fix and repair them (standard with our service). Thanks for your interest in ScanDigital and please let us know if you have other questions!

Q:

If my 8mm reels or VHS tapes are only partially filled does it still count as one or is the fee based on amount of footage?

Cindy M.  asked on  Nov 23, 2012

A:

Cindy - For video tapes, each tape up to 2 hours counts as one. For the film we bill based on the number of feet of film (so in that case a partial reel would be billed at the actual footage). Thanks for your interest in ScanDigital and please let us know if you have other questions!
