Q:

A little confused. It says $300 option is limited to one order per person. Can I buy the 300 groupon and one 100 groupon and send my VHS tapes in, because I have about 20 tapes, and that should cover all of them. Also, does this include shipping? As well, do you restore the videos? I actually have a vhs to dvd converter, but the VHS are of poor quality, so I have yet to convert them all to DVDs due to this. If you do not restore and only convert, then I can do that at home. Thanks.

A:

Hi Melanie! There is a limit of thee $100 Groupon or one $300 Groupon per customer. You can purchase a $300 Groupon and pay the reminder via your credit card. Shipping costs are in addition to transfer costs. When you place your order, you have the option to select UPS Ground shipping for $10 or you can select self shipping. The UPS Ground shipping is a flat rate for packages up to 50 pounds. All orders will be returned via UPS Ground for $10. Unfortunately, we do not offer restoration services. If you would like to edit your footage, we recommend the expert transfer. With the expert transfer, tapes that are two hours or less are transferred for $29.95. Tapes that are more than two hours are transferred at $29.95 for every two hours. In addition to standard DVDs, an AVI file will be created and will be uploaded onto an external hard drive, which you may provide or purchase from us for $119.95. We require 30GB of free space for every 2 hour tape.

Q:

Does this apply to 8 mm reels and what is the cost per reel

phyllis j.  asked on  Nov 23, 2012

A:

Phyllis - yes this applies to 8mm reels. The cost is based on the number of feet of film you send us so it will vary depending on the reel size, but a typical 3" reel is about $13. Thanks for your interest in our offer and please let us know if you have other questions. Happy Holidays!
