Q:

Why are the online reviews of this so unbelievably terrible? Is this some sort of attack on the company, or is Groupon promoting a terrible product??

Will G.  asked on  Nov 24, 2012

A:

Will - Seeing negative reviews online can definitely be alarming and I can appreciate your concern. Unfortunately as our company has grown and been successful in a relatively niche industry, bad reviews (that we cannot trace to real customers) have come up from time to time. We work hard to remove false reviews and we also encourage our customers to review us so that legitimate information is out there. I am one of the owners and founders of ScanDigital and I can tell you that Groupon is definitely not promoting a terrible product. We have had a partnership with groupon for over 2 years now and have built a very strong track record that we are proud of. They would not continue to promote us if we were not the real deal. To date, we have processed orders for more than 100,000 customers with literally tens of thousands that have been thrilled with our service. We have pages of positive testimonials here on our site: http://www.scandigital.com/eastern-testimonials.php Obviously that is part of our website, so if you would prefer to read a professional review you can find one from Macworld magazine here: http://www.macworld.com/article/1143504/outsourcescanning.html I hope this alleviates some of your concern. Thanks for your inquiry and feel free to send any other questions you may have. We will be monitoring these boards the rest of the weekend. Happy holidays!

Q:

Can you convert copyrighted VHS to DVD? I have VHS tapes that are not available in DVD. Thanks

Lorrie S.  asked on  Nov 23, 2012

A:

Lorrie - Unfortunately we cannot convert materials that are covered by a copyright (unless you are the owner of the copyright and have rights to reproduce the video tape). Thanks for your interest in ScanDigital and please let us know if you have other questions!

Q:

I have a digital video of my nephew's wedding that was taken recently, but the audio is not very loud. Can you do anything to improve the audio portion? Thanks,

Susie H.  asked on  Nov 22, 2012

A:

Hi Susie - Unfortunately, we are unable to improve the quality of the audio on your video. We handle the transfer of analog materials to digital format. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on these boards or email us. Happy Thanksgiving!
