Q:

I have about 100o photos to convert to digital format. would the 115 dollar purchase (300 dollar value) cover this. Do I have to ship these photos to you? Where are you located?

Todd m.  asked on  Nov 22, 2012

A:

Hi Todd - I want to confirm, do you have 1000 photos or 100 photos? 1000 photos will cost you $480 to scan so if you purchase the $115 option, you will still have $180 left that will be charged to the credit card you provide. We are located in Torrance, CA and you will need to ship your materials to us. After you place your order online, you will need to print the shipping label generated from our website, and ship your order to our headquarters in Southern California. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on these boards or email us. Happy Thanksgiving!

Q:

I'm not sure which option to purchase. I have 180 black and white 35mm negatives (strips of 6), and 67 color negatives. I don't know the exact size of the color negatives but they are individual negatives that measure around 2.5 x 2.5 inches corner to corner. I am not sure if I should have all of the negatives scanned at the normal resolution or high resolution. I am thinking of possibly using the negatives to create larger prints including large canvas or acrylic prints. If I have them scanned at high resolution, would the $300 Groupon be best for me to purchase and use for the order I described above? Would the normal resolution be ok to create large canvas or acrylic prints?

Maricar I.  asked on  Nov 22, 2012

A:

Hi Maricar - It sounds like your color negatives are 120 format and are charged $2.48 at normal resolution. You have a lot of scanning required so purchasing the $300 groupon will be best for you. You will want to have your 35mm negatives scanned at high resolution but your 120 film should be enough at normal resolution because they are bigger. It will depend on the size of print you want to do though. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on these boards or email us. Happy Thanksgiving!

Q:

Can the $300 option be used for separate order keeping a running total until the $300 balance is used? In other words, can I send in one small order at a time?

Rashelle S.  asked on  Nov 22, 2012

A:

Hi Rashelle - Yes, any unused Groupon credit is saved on your code to be used with a future order. You would simply enter the same code when placing your next order. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on these boards or email us. Happy Thanksgiving!

Q:

Hello, I have approximately 25 VHS tapes and 7 Beta tapes I would like to have digitalized on DVD. Would the $300 Groupon take care of this? Thanks, Richard

Richard G.  asked on  Nov 22, 2012

A:

Hi Richard - We charge $19.95 per tape for any tape of 2 hours or less in length. With a $300 Groupon, you can transfer 15 of those tapes. You will have 17 tapes remaining that will not be covered by your Groupon value. If you'd like to do everything at once, you can contact our customer service team at info@scandigital.com and we'd be happy to offer you a discount on your remaining amount since you have so many. If you have any questions, please feel free to post on these boards or email us. Happy Thanksgiving!
