Q:

How much does it cost 1) to convert VHS tapes to cd; 2) to convert pictures , negatives to CDS?

Robert B.  asked on  Nov 25, 2012

A:

Robert - VHS conversions are $19.95 up to two hours of footage. Photos are $0.48 and negatives are $0.58. The $100 voucher would cover 5 videotapes or about 200 photos or about 170 negatives. This deal is closed already, but you can still purchase vouchers from here: http://www.groupon.com/deals/scan-digital-charlotte-1 - Thanks and please let us know if you have any other questions!

Q:

I have a video on VHS that is 20 minutes long. Can that video be transfered to DVD along with another video that is 1 hour and 40 minutes or less to make up one DVD transfer?

Lori K.  asked on  Nov 25, 2012

A:

Lori - We do not allow tapes to be combined, so those two tapes would each count as a transfer to DVD. Sorry about that. Q:

Do you provide a service to scan photographs onto a CD? What is the difference between scanning to CD or DVD?

Kim L.  asked on  Nov 22, 2012

A:

Kim - yes, we can scan your photographs and provide them on a CD. The primary difference between a CD and DVD is the capacity of the disc. A DVD can hold 5-6 times as many files as a CD. Thanks for your interest in ScanDigital and please let us know if you have other questions!
