Please explain 300dpi and 600dpi. Thanks..

Barbara - Welcome to ScanMyPhotos.com, we're glad you found us. 300 DPI is good for print reproduction of the same size or for viewing on a computer. 600 DPI is better to "future-proof" your photos. As screen resolutions increase, so will your scanned images to maintain viewing quality. Additionally, scanning at a higher resolution allows for larger, crisper photo reproductions.
