Q:

How do I pay the additional $14.95 to cover photo sizes other than 4x6?

Marv R.  asked on  Jan 2, 2013

A:

Here's how: First, purchase the Groupon deal today. Then, when submitting your photos to us for scanning, select the option to scan sizes other than 4x6 on the order form for an additional $14.95 per Groupon. This order form will be submitted with your photos when sent to us. Selecting this option will allow you to send sizes ranging from 3x3" up to 8x10" (Please note photos must be organized by size).

Q:

why would I choose-the high resolution over the standard on old photographs? (like those from the old Instamatic etc.)

Karri J.  asked on  Dec 29, 2012

A:

300 DPI is good for print reproduction of the same size or for viewing on a computer. 600 DPI is better to "future-proof" your photos. As screen resolutions increase, so will your scanned images to maintain viewing quality. Additionally, scanning at a higher resolution allows for larger, crisper photo reproductions. For example, a 4x6 scanned at 300 DPI can reproduce a 4x6 or a 5x7 print whereas a 600 DPI scan can print up to 16x20. Please visit http://www.scanmyphotos.com/300v600dpi.php for more information.
