More Questions and Answers

Q:

I'm really nervous of sending my precious memories through the mail. If anything happened to them en route, there is no way I can retrieve those images. They are old photos that span several continents. I wanted all my kids to have copies. I know your company is probably of the highest quality but what if anything happened while you were handling them? Is there any advice you can give me that will set my mind at rest about this?

A:

ScanMyPhotos.com, founded back in 1990 is a leader in the photo imaging industry and professionally scans tens of millions of photos. You may use any shipping company you that are most comfortable with. However, we cannot warrantee or guarantee courier deliveries. You can send via signature confirmation and other specialty services and we do digitally archive and backup your entire order for 15-days as an added precaution. That said, the real problem is if you don’t have your pictures digitized, as then they do risk getting tucked away at home and misplaced, inadvertently thrown away, faded or lost due to fire, flood, etc. so either way there is a risk involved. If you don't use us, we HIGHLY recommend digitizing and backing up your photos ASAP. Q:

What if your pictures are smaller than 4x6 or larger?

Jennifer s.  asked on  Dec 25, 2012

A:

Although the Groupon special is limited to standard 4×6” photographic pictures, you can select to send in any sizes from 3 x 3” – 8 × 10” enlargements. Once you have placed your Groupon order, follow the complete information on how to place your order by visiting the link on your printed Groupon voucher under the heading "How to use this". Download and fill out the order Form and mail with your photos and your valid Groupon voucher. On the order form, select the "Sizes other than 4x6" options and pay just $14.95 extra per Groupon if any of your provided photos are not 4×6″ [must be between 3 x 3” – 8 × 10″]. Photos must be organized by size for this option.
