What You'll Get
Before sonograms, parents had to wait for a telegram from the stork to determine the gender of their developing babies. See your offspring in real time with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $185 for two 4-D sonograms with diagnostic assessments for one (a $370 value)
- $185 for a package for two, which includes one 4-D sonogram with a diagnostic assessment for each expectant mother (a $370 value)
- $89 for one 4-D sonogram with a diagnostic assessment (a $185 value)
During each 20- to 30-minute 4-D sonogram, a registered sonographer creates a moving 3-D scan of an unborn baby to reveal adorable yawns and smiles. Afterward, proud parents receive photos and a narrated DVD of the experience to coo over at home. The diagnostic assessment includes gender determination as well as a fetal size, weight, and anatomy check and a formal report to your doctor or midwife.

A heartbeat, a grasping hand, a tiny yawn, a smile––these are the moments that make the long wait of expectant parenthood worthwhile. Yet often they go unnoticed. The singular snapshots provided by traditional sonogram technology offer only brief glimpses into the future. Lance Dursi, creator of Scanbabies, sought to give parents something more––something more personal and more reassuring.
Initially an obstetric sonogram consultant, Lance worked until he gained registration from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Now, with nearly 30 years of baby-scanning practice and thousands of baby scans under his belt, Lance records fetal inhabitants with 3-D and 4-D technology, yielding prints, digital images, and videos of the sonograms for later family viewing and projection onto Times Square billboards.
