This was a great buy. Everything was as advertised!

I have used this service multiple times and every time I get the quality scan back. The original print quality sometimes was poor but I still get a reasonable quality digital scan. It makes keeping the historical photos easy.

They are the best company out of all others I tried.

What You'll Get

For $75, today's side deal gets you a prepaid photo box (a $149.95 value) that can hold roughly 2,000 photos with the White Glove scan-in-order service (a $48.50 value) from ScanMyPhotos.com, a division of 30 Minute Photos Etc. Tax is not included with this Groupon.

Fill the provided ScanMyPhotos.com box with about 2,000 fading memories before shipping it off to be expertly converted into 300 DPI JPEG files that will last a lifetime perched neatly on your hard drive. With the White Glove service, photos can be scanned in a specific order or arranged categorically, depending on the way you bundle the pictures. Read the instructions to ensure that your pics are properly arranged and prepared for scanning. You'll quickly receive a DVD of scanned 24-bit true-color images, thanks to ScanMyPhotos.com's speedy same-day scanning, which completes the image-preservation process during the very same diurnal period in which the images are received.

Reviews

ScanMyPhotos.com has been featured and received rave reviews in the New York Times in 2008, and Los Angeles magazine named ScanMyPhotos.com as Best Digital Photo Scans in its Best of LA 2009. Barron's just named the company as its Gadget of the Week:

  • How valuable is this? Like everyone over the age of 30, we have snaps dating back decades—of relatives, holidays, childhood memories and family gatherings, most hidden away, seldom viewed and effectively forgotten. There were photos taken by our parents and grandparents, along with trips I took and friends I had before I ever met my wife and vice versa, memories we can now share. That's worth a fortune. – Jay Palmer, Barron's
  • Fortunately, the results are well worth it. The company ships your original photos back to you by Priority Mail (two or three days), complete with a nicely custom-labeled DVD. It contains standard 300-dots-per-inch JPEG photo files, ready for copying to your computer. –David Pogue, New York Times
  • If the thought of scanning thousands of pictures seems as appealing as sitting on a cactus, go to Scan My Photos. – Los Angeles

About ScanMyPhotos.com

ScanMyPhotos.com began in 1990 as a small retail photo center in Irvine, California, but thanks to innovations in Kodak photo-scanning technology soon blossomed into a national, online picture preserver. Lauded by Popular Photography as the "leader in digitizing prints", featured by USA Today, and mentioned in both Forbes and the The Los Angeles Times, and profiled on KTLA-TV News, the company artfully converts printed memories into edit-ready, 300- or 600-dpi images conveniently stored on a data DVD, flash drive, or uploaded to the cloud.

Technicians can also convert slides and negatives into digital files, restore timeworn photographs, and transfer VHS or 8mm to high-definition DVDs so that moms can preserve their child's first birthday party and dads can update the home videos where they reenacted episodes of Charlie's Angels.
