This time the hero of the Where’s Waldo books is lost in a 3D tableau—New York City. At least, that’s the premise of the Where’s Waldo Scavenger Hunt, during which teams of participants sporting red-and-white stripes seek him out, while completing challenges to unlock more clues to his whereabouts. At least one member per team must have a smart phone, as clues are obtained via the hunt’s Scan-Quest app, and the process also integrates Facebook, Twitter and digital photos.
The NYC hunt takes place Saturday, June 1, whereas the Hoboken hunt is held on Saturday, June 8. Both hunts start at 2 p.m., with registration from 1-2 p.m., and an after party at a secret location that starts at 5 p.m. Entry includes one free well cocktail or Coors Light draft at registration.

Participants can enjoy stationed appetizers during registration for both scavenger hunt events.

Though this merchant sometimes offers a discounted price online, this Groupon is still the best deal available.
