About Schakolad Chocolate Factory

Baruch Schaked, cofounder of Schakolad Chocolate Factory, has melted, molded, and handcrafted chocolates across the globe since 1969. First working under his chocolatier father-in-law in Argentina, Schaked eventually traveled across Europe, participating in courses, attending seminars, and occasionally taking a dip in a chocolate fountain. Years later, after running a confectionary in southern Florida, Baruch was planning to sell the shop in favor of retirement. His son Edgar lovingly interceded in his determination to keep the three-generation family passion alive. Together, the two opened the first Schakolad Chocolate Factory in 1995, focusing on crafting fresh, hand-dipped chocolates.
